Click2Cycle are a family-run bike hire company based in Hythe, Kent that wants to spread their love of two wheels far and wide on the Kent coastline. To make things even easier for Bloom Stays guests, Click2Cycle will deliver one of their super speedy E-bikes (or a regular push bike if you prefer) directly to your Bloom Stays holiday home, as long as it’s within 20 miles of Hythe.
Once booked, just open the front door of your holiday home and your two wheels will be ready to go.
As a dedicated and adventurous family, Click2Cycle are not only avid cyclists but windsurfing enthusiasts and outdoor adventure seekers as well. This team are fighting against carbon emissions - one rotation of the pedal at a time.
Like the sounds of avoiding beachside parking pressures? Finished with hot, stuffy cars when they’ve sat in the sun all day? Missing the view because the roads aren’t quite close enough to the coastline? Get so much more out of your holiday by swapping to two wheels and booking a bike! 🚲
Click2Cycle’s all-time favourite route is The Crab and Winkle Way, which begins in the bustling, historic city of Canterbury, and winds its way through exquisite landscapes fringed with woodlands and extensive farmlands all the way to exquisite Whitstable.
“Canterbury is a treasure trove of ancient buildings, including the breathtaking Canterbury Cathedral. Whitstable is a cheerful seaside town known for its colourful beach huts, vibrant harbour, and exceptional seafood.”
The route is well-marked with distinctive blue and white signs, ensuring you stay on track and focused on the journey, not the GPS. Part of the National Cycle Route 1, the Crab and Winkle Way takes full advantage of the beautiful countryside that Kent has to offer.
Take it wherever you’d like to but here are a few suggestions from us:
The cute independent shops at Sandgate – why not have a cuppa at Loaf in Sandgate.
Or head for Folkestone’s creative quarter with its funky vintage shops and homewares – we love Miss Ginger’s fabric shop.
