Combining woodland, wildlife, and the River Darent within its 55 hectares, the Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve provides a half-day well spent, with visitors invited to walk its paths and discover an impressive number of wintering wildfowl, birds, and dragonflies. On the opposite side of town, pedestrians can enter Knole Park free of charge and take advantage of the parkland’s colour coded routes, leading them through woods, hills, and valleys – the whole area being a Site of Special Scientific Interest.

For leisurely drinks or exclusive private bookings, don’t miss a visit to The Mount Vineyard in nearby Shoreham. Spanning 10 acres, The Mount produces award-winning still and sparkling wines, each bottle encapsulating centuries of Kentish history within the unique microclimate of the Darent Valley.

For motorsports enthusiasts, there’s also Brands Hatch; one of the world’s most iconic sporting venues, this circuit just outside Sevenoaks hosts some of the most prestigious events on two and four wheels.
