Walmer and Deal’s long histories as naval towns means that it’s embedded in their architectural bones to build houses that demand commanding views of the English Channel. Inside, these Georgian houses had to have impressive scale, perhaps to counter months living at sea, and so this Regency Beach House has both qualities.
Built for an Admiral two centuries ago, Regency Beach House is now the epitome of coastal luxury. With eight individually designed bedrooms its ideal for large groups of friends and family coming together for a memorable stay on the Kent coastal within walking distance of Walmer and Deal’s seafront. At the house step off the seafront and straight into the front walled garden with its tropical plants. Listen out for the fountain which instantly sets the scene for a relaxing stay. Inside the grand front door, the grand entrance hall with its sweeping staircase leads up to six of the eight bedrooms, giving you just a taste of what’s to come in this elegant home.
Modern, contemporary artworks and design pieces have been carefully collated here to bring the house up to date. There are plenty of places dotted around the house to just sit and have a look around at all this colour. The high-ceilinged sitting room with its bay windows take in as wide a sea view as you can get here whilst the dining room, which seats 14, is the perfect place to throw a dinner fit for, well, an Admiral of the fleet. A large modern, fully equipped kitchen means you can easily prep family meals or for something more special, hire a caterer for those special occasions. On the Lower ground floor, there’s a cosy cinema room that is ideal for a relaxed evening watching a timeless classic together.
On the first floor, each of the six bedrooms has its own character and style, coupled with gorgeous, modern bathrooms, and sensational views over the beach and out to sea. On the lower ground floor, two further bedrooms are tucked away, and they directly open out to the garden.
In the warmer months, daytimes and evenings can be spent in the oasis of the walled garden, whether indulging in a meal or drinks al fresco, or relaxing on a lounger in the fresh sea air. With the glorious seafront and beach hassle-free beach days are here. You can wander back to the house for a mid-afternoon snooze couldn't be easier, after a walk along the seafront or choose lunch at one of the independent cafes and restaurants.
Regency Beach House really is one of those special homes and the ideal venue for friends and family groups to come together for a luxurious stay on the Kent coast.

The quieter neighbour to nearby Deal, a creative hub of cobbled streets lined with historic buildings, and everything from small art galleries and boutique shops, quirky cafes to renowned restaurants, lies under a 15 minute walk away.
