The three luxurious huts The Lookerer, Rumwold, and The Romney (available to book separately or as a ‘flock’, that’s our collective noun for them) all set in wide open sheep pasture land on a working farm on Romney Marsh. The sheep, all native breeds to the unique marshland setting, will be your nearest friendly neighbours.

An Experience Like No Other

Inside the huts, you’ll find a sumptuous double bed, kitchen, en-suite bathroom with shower and a private area to relax in. Hotel quality linens and of course, the finest quality, locally grown and spun wool throws are a real feature of the décor. Our family hut, The Romney, has a mini bunk bed and a private outdoor bathtub with some of the best sunset views in Kent.

One visitor noted that here ‘the stars are insane’ and you’ll get amazing views of the nighttime vistas from both inside and outside the huts. Each hut also has its own firepit to complete your full ‘get away from it all’ experience so all you’ll need is a packet of gooey marshmallows and some chocolate.

Stay Year Round

The Shepherds huts are available all year round so even those winter chills are kept at bay with their own mini log burners in each cabin.

Keeping busy shouldn’t be a problem either with experiences such as alpaca trekking, cocktail making and knitting workshops available from the farm. Plenty of walks and good local pubs are on your doorstep and if you’re missing the conveniences of city life, we can arrange for a breakfast box from Aldington Fresh Foods to be delivered. Fresh bacon and eggs on the firepit anyone? You may just find some friends sheepishly trying to join you.
