In an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the wonderful Piglet’s House, situated on Honeypot Farm, with its charming name inspired by AA Milne’s beloved characters, is the perfect countryside retreat for two. With outstanding views over the Romney Marsh and Hythe, and out over the beautiful Kent coastline and channel, with views stretching as far as the unique landscape of Dungeness, to Sussex and over to the shores of France, you’ll have quite the backdrop for your breakaway.

Inside, you’ll find all you could need for a comfortable and relaxing break, a well-equipped kitchen and cosy sitting room, and a good-sized double bedroom; all of which glimpse outside through trees to the beautiful views. After a day of exploring, come the warmer months meals outside can be had around the outdoor dining area, sharing in the exceptional views, while during the Winter you can wrap up and watch the sunset over the hills around the fire pit.

Beautifully situated to discover this picturesque area of Kent, you’ll easily be able to explore both countryside and coast during your stay, and with the helpful and friendly owners situated on the farm, local tips and hidden secrets will be on hand. For those keen to stretch their legs, the location on the ancient Saxon Shore Way takes you through the nearby countryside alongside those exceptional sea views. With the coast just under 15 minutes by car, with the pebbled beach at Hythe with its pretty canal, and promenade stretching as far as vibrant Folkestone, and the sandy shores of Dymchurch also nearby; both of which can take you by steam train to explore the unique landscape of Dungeness Nature Reserve. With many quaint villages surrounding you, the choice of local, friendly pubs for a light lunch or evening meal is never too far away.
