Closer still, the lovingly restored Lavender Line heritage railway at Isfield Station invites visitors of all ages to step back in time and experience the golden age of steam travel. Glyndebourne Opera House, renowned for its world-class performances and quintessentially English atmosphere, is also just minutes away.

Brook Lodge Farm, is set in the beautiful Sussex countryside, near the village of Isfield, with a footpath from the house leading to the village. It enjoys good road connections with Gatwick being 50 minutes away, Brighton 25 minutes and Lewes and Glyndebourne 10 minutes by car.

There are several pubs nearby which are an easy walk away, including The Laughing Fish in Isfield and The Halfway House in Rosehill, just half a mile away, or a longer walk of 25 mins will take you to The Anchor Inn on the river at Barcombe. The Peacock Inn in Piltdown and The Cock Inn, Clayhill are both within a 5-10 min drive away. A variety of restaurants can also be found in Lewes and Uckfield.

World-renowned for opera and classical music, Glyndebourne offers top-tier performances in an elegant countryside setting. Booking ahead is recommended, especially during festival seasons.
