Proof of this dedication to life in the slow lane are the binoculars on the shelf just asking to be used for some local bird spotting. Did we mention the extra comfy double bed and, not to exclude our four-legged friends, gorgeously soft blankets for canine comfort too? There’s a quaint outdoor covered seating area for those not yet sufficiently relaxed and the views over the surrounding fields means there’s very little going to disturb the peace apart from the odd tractor, the crunch of a hay bale or walkers sharing the countryside.
Relaxing as country life is, being connected is a bonus and wi-fi is included, as are some internet TV packages on its flat screen TV. There’s a coffee machine and hob in the small, but perfectly formed kitchen and a beautiful bathroom with a power shower. Children are well catered for with a basket of toys suitable for one younger child. At night the dark, uninterrupted Sussex skies reveal miles and miles of stars.
