Escape from the hustle and bustle of every day electronic life and indulge in the beauty and tranquillity of nature, without the distractions of phones, internet, and TV you can completely unwind, de-stress and soak up the peace, quiet and far-reaching countryside views (although 4G should be available if you need it). Guests can also have fun feeding the lambs in spring, and watch them hop and skip in the surrounding fields.

A beautifully presented shepherd’s hut, The Lookerer is one of a pair of huts, located on the edge of Romney Marsh with its big skies and far-reaching views. A chance to go “off grid” and be free from everyday stresses The Lookerer, along with its sister Rumwold, sits in a sheep meadow with wonderful views across the marsh and up to the ridge where you will find Lympne Castle which was built in the 1080s for the Archdeacons of Canterbury.

Bright, warm and inviting with all the necessary amenities, a well-thought-out kitchenette and living area with a lovely wood burning stove, plus a thoughtful welcome pack of local produce, this shepherds hut is a delightfully romantic base for your holiday in Kent.

Dogs are allowed from 1st November–February 28th as there are no sheep in the fields around the huts at this time of year.
