This is a rare opportunity to stay in a beautifully renovated oast house (traditionally used for drying hops), notable for its unusual combination of both square and round kilns.
Furnished to a high standard, the house offers luxurious accommodation ideal for couples and small families. The rooms are beautifully decorated, with interiors that blend antique and contemporary styles to create a distinctive, memorable backdrop to any staycation. Set within a private estate, the house and garden enjoy far-reaching views from every room across the Weald of Kent, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, making it truly special to wake up in.
The rural setting provides a haven of peace and tranquillity, with miles of footpaths on the doorstep – including the renowned Greensand Way – yet the historic town of Sevenoaks is also just 10 minutes away for convenient shopping, dining, and cultural outings.
The location is well-placed for exploring many of Kent’s celebrated heritage sites, including Hever Castle, Penshurst Place, Sissinghurst Castle Garden, and Chartwell. Rochester Cathedral and Canterbury Cathedral are both within an hour’s drive, while London can be reached in around 30 minutes by train (nearest railway station at Sevenoaks).
