Nestled in the Kent countryside, amongst hectares of hop fields and wildflower meadows, you’ll find this glorious cabin for two, in what we think is a pretty special setting: the grounds of McCann’s Brewery. Imagine the privacy of your own cabin, relaxing by the warming wood burner or from the bubbles of your very own hot tub, yet having the ease of eating out, learning the history of hop making and sampling an on-site crafted beer, or even a local wine, without having to walk more than a couple of minutes, with McCann’s Hop House and Kitchen moments away. Although, should stretching your legs further be on the agenda, miles of beautiful walking routes await, with a visit to the local farm shop one we would recommend.

Please note: this property does not have a cooking hob or oven. On-site restaurant is open for breakfasts available in the taproom from 8.30am Friday-Sunday. Booking advised. Lunch and dinner is also available in the tap room (not included in price) available from Wednesday-Sunday. Please ensure you book ahead of your stay to avoid disappointment.

We would respectfully ask that the following house rules are adhered to, to avoid any damages to our beautiful holiday home. Should any damages arise please note charges may be taken from your security deposit.
Please ensure you check out on time to allow our housekeepers to enter the property and prepare it for the next guests.
Smoking is not permitted in the property at any time.
Please note for insurance purposes the number of guests must not exceed the total occupancy of the house.
For fire safety reasons please do not use any candles in the property.
Please note quiet hours are between 11pm and 9am. Please be respectful to our neighbours.

Perfect getaway 4.7/5

The hut was just idyllic, and perfect for a couple of nights away. The view was beautiful and it was peaceful, we didnt really hear any noise from the farm. The hot tub was amazing and so relaxing to just sit and look out onto the view. The bed was really comfy, and the hut had everything you needed for a short trip. The only thing which would have been great was the option for some sun loungers as it was really hot.

Wonderful place to stay. Cabin is stylish and hot tub very relaxing. Great brewery and food and loved the terrace , which h seems to be a new addition. Will recommend and definitely be back.

Weekend break 4.8/5

We stayed for 2 nights in May. Loved the hot tub, nice views of the countryside. The bar and restaurant were convenient with a good choice of beers. The location was good, being walkable to Tenterden passing hops fields on the way but would recommend getting a taxi back in the evening.

The hut was spotless and so welcoming with lovely personal touches. The staff were all very helpful, chatty and very efficient. The food was very good and well priced. The feeling of the whole Brewery was relaxing and friendly. Will definitely be returning.

Thank you for having us. The little house was very cute and we had a great stay. A few comments to improve comfort; the bathroom door doesnt close, fixing this and investing in pillows which are more comfortable would be worth while! We had breakfast booked for 830 and the restaurant was still not open when we gave up and left for another place to eat after waiting for 15min. Small things, overall the stay was great so these comments are not meant as negative feedback, just things that could have made it better!

Weekend away at McCanns 4.3/5

We stayed at Cascade at Mc Canns brewery in the middle of February 2025 we loved the shepherd hut although its not too roomy this was expected. The brewery was fantastic with a full range of beers and the staff were extremely helpful , the shepherd hut was very clean and the hot tub was wonderful even in February. We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast at Mc Canns which was good value for money .The only disappointing aspect of the stay was no hot water in the shower, tepid at best and had no power .The most disappointing aspect of our stay was the email we received from Bloomstays with an itinerary of what we need to do to not have any deductions taken out of our deposit. I dont feel this was needed half way through our stay.
