Situated in the historic city walls of the charming city of Canterbury, Castle Cottage sits in an excellent location on Castle Street, a moment's walk from all that Canterbury has to offer and just a 5-minute walk from one of the two train stations.
Steeped in character, from beam ceilings to the exposed inglenook fireplace, Castle Cottage has been beautifully extended, creating a wonderful open-plan kitchen and dining area where breakfasts with family and friends can be enjoyed before a day of exploring the cobbled streets of Canterbury.
Come the warmer months, should a relaxing Afternoon be on the cards before a meal out in Canterbury, bi-fold doors connect the inside with the spacious, enclosed garden, ideal for relaxing in the garden with a pre-dinner drink, as well as for children and welcomed four legged friends who may want to stretch their legs.
With a winding staircase leading you to the first floor, here you will find a character filled bedroom overlooking the street below and a modern bathroom with large rain shower, with further stairs taking up to a second bedroom nestled into the beamed eaves.
Location, location, location, Castle Street is in a quiet street just moments from shops, restaurants, and cafés in the heart of Canterbury, a 5-minute walk to the magnificent, imposing Cathedral and river from which you can explore the city by punt. But with both a welcoming café and Italian restaurant just steps away, should a takeaway breakfast or dinner in the comfort of the cottage sound tempting then both are on your doorstep.
