Short stay Sept.2024 5/5
Accomodation was very nice, looking like an ancient postcard. Only recommendation: Don´t be afraid of noise from busy mice in the walls.

Crow Cottage 3.7/5
Crow Cottage is situated deep in the beautiful Kent countryside. It is a charming and characterful cottage well fitted out but in need of a little TLC. The bathroom could be greatly improved and the mattress needs replacing as well as the pillows. The booklet for the cottage could be greatly enhanced for 2024 with much more local information. A lovely stay though.

Lovely getaway for it all cottage 5/5
We love coming back to Crow Cottage. It is cosy, comfortable, well equipped and very quiet. Perfectly located for a range of fabulous dog walks including some right from the front door but dog just as happy chasing around the garden. Booking via Bloom very easy and excellent customer service.

A charming cottage 4.5/5
A charming 1 bed cottage in a quiet country location. Couldn't ask for more.
Well appointed, very clean. Only drawback is the lane leading to the cottage which would suit an off road vehicle more than a small private car. Very bumpy!

So peaceful and quiet.
We will come back!

If you want a quiet bolt hole to escape from the world this is the place 3.7/5
Crow cottage is very sweet and pleasant, although there were a few things which were lacking which could have made it outstanding.
The mattress needs a topper it was uncomfortable.
The bathroom has an unpleasant orange stain on the floor which needs addressing.
There was a lot of hibernating bluebottles which flew around the bedrooms and we ended up having to kill... Ugh but apparently they are common around that part of the countryside and its common for that time of year.
There was no firelighters for the fire so couldn't get it going.
There was no beer bottle opener, which you'd expect to see.
The internet dropped a lot which was frustrating when I was trying to work online.
These are relatively minor things if you don't mind a hard mattress, but I wouldn't stay here again.
I ordered a Kent ploughman's box and breakfast box as part of the booking and was told they'd arrive the day I got there, but they didn't. Contacting the out of hours team didn't get me anywhere, noone answered, so on Monday after speaking with the bloom stay office a very nice lady who apologised profoundly brought us something although I couldn't eat half of it and it certainly was not enough for four as advertised.
It's a nice cottage but bring food with you, don't rely on 3rd party suppliers.
So in conclusion I feel the owners would be best off with a bit more investment to make it outstanding, as it stands its average.

Lovely comfortable, quiet, dog-friendly cottage 5/5
This cottage is lovely and spacious for 2 with a great outside grassed area for dogs - although not enclosed there is only one other property about 150yds away and otherwise surrounded by fields, so very quiet. Comfortable, clean, warm, well equipped and perfectly located for walks and places to explore from the door or just a short drive away

Rural bliss 5/5
A welcome break where the silence was only broken by the surrounding wildlife. Just the right size for two with plenty of outside space to relax. A lovely warm cottage, great to return to after dog walking on the local, well marked, footpaths.

Break time 4.2/5
After visiting crow cottage again after several lovely holidays there we were disappointed by a few of the things mainly the garden unable to walk round it because so overgrown had to cut the weeds back to sit on the patio on a garden bench which needed attention, then they just took the seat and table without saying anything so nowhere to eat outside or sit and have a drink, came to cut the grass the day before we came home which was quite unbelievable being as we booked early on in the year. Lights were missing in the bathroom no shaver light, someone came in while we were out to replace kitchen taps but no curtesy call to say someone would be coming in on our absence we wasnt sure what had happened when we returned and there was water on the floor, we still love the cottage but really think it needs a little more TLC

A dreamcottage in the neighborhood of Canterbury 5/5
We have had a marvelous time in Crow Cottage. A typical English cottage in Kent. We loved the silent suurounding, the lovely walks and the pubs of Faversham and Canterbury.
For us is several visits to the Cathedral for the Evensong a must.
A place to come back.

Lovely peaceful cottage 4.8/5
A lovely comfortable cottage in a peaceful location. Although the garden is not enclosed, the cottage is surrounded by fields so is fine for dogs. Lots of space for two people & well equipped. Stairs are narrow and steep so might be a problem for the less agile. Good walks right from the door and lots to explore a short drive away. An outside tap would be useful for cleaning muddy paws!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. 5/5
Our stay at Crow Cottage was far too short but we aim to return as it is only two hours drive for us to get there. All of the facilities of the cottage were excellent and comfortable. Only issue was the front door would not unlock with the key provided.

Cottage break 4.5/5
This was our 3rd stay so it speaks for itself, might be a bit isolated for some people but we love it just 5mile from Faversham and lots of fantastic walks, cottage is very cosy with everything you need.the drive up to it leave a bit to be desired very rough.conservatory carpet needs replacing and the shower needs some attention but apart from that it was brilliant.

Great location to explore Kent 4.7/5
Great cottage, well appointed, good location, good value and lots of privacy and space. Great to have our little dog join us too, he definitely enjoyed exploring the large garden. Good location to explore the surrounding area. Definitely recommend visiting Belmont House and Gardens which is a short drive away and is free to visit as occupants of the cottage, we went on a quiet day so felt like we had the place to ourselves. Lots of great places to eat in and around Faversham and nice ales/beers to enjoy. The Carpenters Arms is a short walk from the cottage and well worth a visit, make sure to book in advance. The only minor criticism was the bed mattress was not that comfortable.

We enjoyed a lovely week at Crow cottage, great central location for us to visit different places. 4.2/5
Lovely setting, central location for our needs. Clean ,simple and charming. Belmont estate well worth a visit for the beautiful gardens.

A lovely quiet location 5/5
This was our second visit to the cottage and it was lovely to be back. We really enjoy the quiet location but its nice and central to reach the sites and attractions that Kent has to offer. Definitely try out Macknade farm shop and its cafe in Faversham. Perhaps some Oil on the bathroom door hinges to stop waking up partners in the night is my only suggestion .

Summer break 3.7/5
Stayed in this cottage before and always enjoyed the peace and quiet the cottage is comfortable but is getting ready for a few upgrades e.g settee springs seem to have gone and kitchen carpet is threadbare also we knew the stairs were a bit iffy but they seemed to have polished them making them worse, but after saying all this I would rather stay here than anywhere else its a perfect spot and help always there if needed .

Fab little cottage in peaceful area 4.7/5
Lots of good walks around the area as fields surround the cottage. You hear the owl at night hooting on the roof. Other than that it's completely quiet not a sound! Fab little place with a log burner to keep cosy. Only thing I would change is the dining chairs as they are very wobbly and I thought I would break them so didn't sit on them at all. And the antenna needs seeing to as it looses reception often for the TV. Other than that 4.5/5

What a wonderful cosy cottage, and very well equipped. Walked in Whitstable and Herne Bay, wildlife count - blackbird, long tailed tits, robin, pheasants and a beautiful dog fox who obviously owned the garden! Hope to return for longer next time.

Had a wonderful stay in this cottage that we came to call our home. Impeccably clean and in a very secluded area away from the bustle of daily life... the cottage is equipped with everything I could possibly require. The location and sounds of nature have been a pleasure. Although it was our first visit I'm sure it won't be our last!

Our first visit to Crow Cottage - and won't be our last! Lovely clean and comfortable cottage - and so quiet. Just right to recharge our batteries for a few days. Harley loved pottering around the garden, as well as walks along the coast at Oare and Seasalter. Will definitely be back to explore more.
