In the Area

Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, in the small village of Kingston, in the beautiful countryside surrounding Canterbury. On the rolling Elham Valley Way, the area is known for picturesque countryside walking routes, with many bridleways and footpaths from the farm. With a renowned, friendly country pub, The Black Robin, a 15 minute walk away, ideal for lunch or dinner, or if sampling locally produced wines sounds tempting; Simpson’s Wine Estate is around a 30 minute countryside walk away. For days out exploring, the historic, cobbled streets of Canterbury lie just over a 10 minute drive, with its impressive Cathedral, wonderful eateries, and mix of high street and boutique shops, but if it is the fresh sea air you are craving, the beaches at quaint Hythe or vibrant Folkestone are around 30 minutes by car.

Thank you for having us at Heart's Delight Cottage. We had an absolutely lovely weekend here and wish we could have stayed for longer. The cottage is lovely, and we really enjoyed cosy log fires in the evenings. The area is absolutely beautiful and we appreciated the advice on local spots to go and explore. Thank you again and hopefully next time we can stay for longer!
