Please note this property is more suitable for family groups and groups of adults under 25 are not permitted. Noise must be kept to a minimum.
A luxury welcome hamper awaits your arrival; including a bottle of wine/fizz, chocolates, juices, biscuits, tea and milk (subject to availability).
Please note the Wi-Fi may be intermittent due to the rural location of the property.
No pets permitted.
Please note confetti is not permitted.
Please note the property is attached, however Hockley House has private access and garden areas.
Please note check in is 3pm and check out is 10am.
Log burner starter kits may only be available November to end of April -
House Rules
We would respectfully ask that the following house rules are adhered to, to avoid any damages to our beautiful holiday home. Should any damages arise please note charges may be taken from your security deposit.
Please ensure you vacate on time to allow our housekeepers to enter the property and prepare it for the next guests.
Smoking is not permitted in the property at any time.
Please note for insurance purposes the number of guests must not exceed the total occupancy of the house.
For fire safety reasons please do not use any candles in the property.
Please note quiet hours are between 10pm and 9am. Please be respectful to neighbours.
Please observe the hot tub guidelines on arrival.
Confetti and blue tack is not permitted in any of the rooms. Charges will apply if this is used.
Parties and loud music are not permitted.
In the Area
Perfectly located within a few minutes of the White Cliffs of Dover, the Battle of Britain Museum and Dover Castle and yet in the depths of a hidden valley offering total peace and quiet. The World Heritage Site of Canterbury and St Augustine’s Abbey is 30 minutes away and if you have the time bring your passport and pop over to France for the day - it takes less than an hour! If you can tear yourselves away from this lovely property there are great local pubs to visit including The Marquis at Alkham which is approximately 1.5 miles away.
