Introducing the Little Beach House, a subtly stylish coastal gem of a holiday house (and its 'mini' cousin — your very own beach hut) located in the under-the-radar pocket of Tankerton, a pebble's drop from Whitstable. The Little Beach House is a chic nod to coastal living that instantly calms and relaxes; yet invigorates and rejuvenates with its throw-open-the-doors setting, moments from the sea.
Inside, a chic and stylish interior awaits, featuring a harmonious blend of warm wood tones, hand-picked local artwork, and a minimalist feel. The well-equipped open-plan kitchen, with its oversized, marble topped peninsular gives us a bit of kitchen envy (in a good way) and as it sleeps 8 you'll find enough room for everyone to sit and chat here around the dining table. Bedrooms at the Little Beach House offer stylish slumbers, in keeping with the overall vibe. With three bedrooms, including one with an inviting modern four-poster bed and another with a brilliantly designed set of bunk beds that cleverly give everyone, both adults and children, some space whilst maximising space.
During the warmer months the large bi-fold doors can be opened up to create a seamless indoor/outdoor living space, and (now we're truly moving in)… there's a much coveted Big Green Egg to cook up an alfresco feast for friends and family. For those more interested in picking up a glass of bubbles rather than a barbecue fork, there's a hot tub on the deck for a luxurious soak and an excellent choice of garden games for the competitive amongst your gang.
You’ll have no need for a car during your stay, with the colourful Tankerton slopes; dotted with bright beach huts, leading down to the long stretch of shingle beach, a 5-minute walk away. Here you’ll find the Tiny Beach House, your very own beach hut for your stay. We predict there will be tea, biscuits and ice creams no matter the weather. Tankerton's neighbour, Whitstable, famous for its oysters and fisherman's huts, is just a short wander along the seafront promenade. Here, you can sample the freshest oysters and wash them down with a craft beer or two. Even on the coldest days, there's a warm welcome here.
