Lovely Stay at Perry Farm 4.7/5

We had a lovely stay at Perry Farm. The garden was absolutely spectacular, and the kitchen and outdoor area functioned wonderfully. The only reason I reduced the comfort score to a 4 was because we were lucky enough to get a very hot weekend and all of the bedrooms were naturally quite warm as a result (even with windows open). We were not able to find any fans, though perhaps they are available. Regardless, it was a fabulous stay, and I would highly recommend Perry Farm, as I think the weather was quite an anomaly for the season.

Amazing week at Perry Farm 5/5

My extended family of 10 (5 adults & 5 children) stayed at Perry Farm in July. The house & grounds were beautiful - we particularly enjoyed the conservatory which had a huge dining table and the room with the pool table. The children loved playing badminton & football in the enormous garden until well into the evening. Wingham was a gorgeous village within a couple of minutes drive & it was an easy drive to Canterbury & Sandwich, both within 15/20 minutes. Slightly further to Whistable & Broadstairs but all very easy to get to for enjoyable day trips. Communication from Bloom Stays was great, everything was very smooth. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Perry Farm again if we plan another family holiday.

Stunning house 4.8/5

What a beautiful house, the garden was so lovely and we got to enjoy it when the sun came out. The pool table kept the teens occupied. The kitchen was well equipped and was a great size for everyone to dine.

Hen weekend stay - gorgeous property 5/5

We stayed from my friend's hen weekend in May. The house and gardens are absolutely beautiful - we chose the perfect time of year as the gardens looked incredible with lots of wisteria in bloom, making the outdoor table the perfect setting for dinner. It's a beautiful and charming house with lots of original features, and the gardens/grounds are perfect. We wish we had an extra night there to make use of the BBQ. There were lots of spacious, beautifully decorated bedrooms, as well as two sitting rooms, a spacious dining room and lots of bathrooms - ideal for a group of 11 girls. The location is ideal - just 20-30 mins from Canterbury and lots of lovely vineyards - and our host was very helpful and responsive. Check in and check out were really easy and seamless too. We were really impressed and would definitely recommend a stay at Perry Farm!

Lovely spacious home! 5/5

Stayed here for a friends hen do and everyone loved the house! Plenty of space and rooms for the 13 of us and a big table to host. Plus lots of outside space, nice and clean and had no issues! Perfect for a hen do or nice country getaway with a large group!

Absolutely stunning house! Couldn't have asked for more. 5/5

We stayed here for my friends hen do, every part of the house was absolutely perfect for it! The dining part of the kitchen was my favourite, absolutely stunning table that everyone could fit around. The bedrooms were comfortable, beautiful and clean. The living spaces were cosy but big enough for us all to fit. The venue was easy to find and had enough parking for us. I wish we had stayed in the summer so we could've used the outside space more as it is amazing! Lovely host that left us some yummy refreshments! Thank you so so much!

Excellent Long Weekend 4.7/5

Very enjoyable stay at Perry Farmhouse for our large family group. The property is particularly roomy and comfortable with several downstairs reception rooms, and is full of period features. Location also excellent for exploring more widely in Kent.

Fantastic stay 4.8/5

We stayed here for New Years. Kim the owner was very welcoming on arrival and was very understanding of our requests. The place itself was fantastic. Beautifully big comfortable rooms and the place is in a great location. With some beautiful walks and pubs nearby. Could recommend the place more.

Really enjoyed our stay before and after my daughter’s wedding 5/5

Everything was perfect except for the main fridge. It had been pointed out by the owner there had been issues before . We attempted to follow instructions. The fridge did stop working during our stay . Due to being a large party off people we did have lots of food. We did have to throw a lot away . This was my only criticism. Everything was just perfect . Thank you for allowing us to stay

Beautiful property 4.8/5

We had a fantastic weekend here with friends! Many people commented on how clean and beautiful the property was and how every room is generously sized! We also organised games in the garden which was great fun and a great way to enjoy more time on the property! All the amenities in the house were really helpful! We all wished we could stay longer! Kim the property owner met us on arrival and was very helpful and friendly.

We stayed here for a hen do, and it was stunning. The area was easy to get to. Garden was huge and was like being in an Agatha Christie Novel. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

And we loved having a separate living room. Everything was so well maintained and kitchen was well equipped. We will absolutely be back! Thank you so much for millions of memories.

Escape to the Country 5/5

Perry Farm is a beautifully maintained spotlessly clean old farmhouse which combines old world charm - squishy sofas, beams and tack hooks- with 21 st century comfort. Our whole family including two under threes had a wonderful week. The garden is huge, mainly laid to lawn with a patio big enough to sit everyone to eat out plus lounging furniture and room to wheel a buggy to keep little ones asleep. The bedrooms are very comfortable. The kitchen has lots of equipment, pans, crockery and cutlery which make catering for a big party very easy, but if you want to eat out there are excellent pubs and restaurants a short drive away- cars are essential to get around. Our toddler was entertained by visiting squirrels and cats and by the bookshelf of books which have titles suitable for all ages. There is a cupboard with all sorts of board games. Several Zoos are within a quarter of an hours drive and although Canterbury is only 20 mins away Gibsons farm shop has pretty well everything you could want from basics to vegan to Cook frozen ready meals or local cheeses and home made cakes. The owner is on site and is very helpful and responsive. If you are looking for a home away from home and indulging in a fantasy of what it would be like to Escape to the Country this is definitely for you. We loved it.

Great stay 4.8/5

We recently stayed at Perry Farm with our family for 5 days. There is always an element of worry with house rentals that you will arrive and it won’t live up to the pictures but Perry Farm really did. Wonderful quiet location, really well stocked and spotlessly clean. We were lucky to have sunshine to enjoy the huge private garden and loved waking up to see wild rabbits on the lawn every morning. Thank you for the wonderful stay and to Bloom Stays for being really helpful and answering our questions when we were organising caterers etc to come and cook for us.

Perfect retreat into the English countryside 5/5

Perry Farm exceeded our expectations in every way. The pictures don’t do it justice. The property is immaculate and includes a large garden and patio which was perfect for outdoor dinners and picnics. The inside of the house is massive with two large sitting rooms, a big dinner table in the sun room, a games room, a well stocked kitchen, and spacious bedrooms. Our stay was so relaxing, and it was exactly what we were looking for in a high end retreat to the English countryside. No one wanted to leave. We had dinner at a nearby pub one night which was great, and we were only 15-30 minutes driving to all of the sites we wanted to see in Kent (Deal, Canterbury, Dover, Whitstable, etc). Perry Farm is a perfect place for a getaway, highly recommend. I can’t wait to come back.

We had a heavenly week here with our family - the garden is amazing , 20 mins from a variety of beaches and every comfort. Really hoping to book again for next year.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic from start to finish, from Kimberley's quick responses, easy check in, beautiful house which was sparkling clean (the photos don't do it justice!), outside spaces and location. It really was a perfect weekend. Plenty of things to do both inside the house (with it's own games room!) and outside the house (beautiful walks, close to Wingham which has some lovely country pubs). Would highly recommend staying.

Originally a New Year celebration for close friends turned into an engagement! Great memories have been made here and will always hold a special place in my heart. A wonderful place for friends to spend uninterrupted time together - log fire, and table big enough to seat us all. We will be coming back, thank you very much!

This was the perfect place for 12 of us to spend a week together. We were blessed with beautiful weather and apples galore! Lunched at The Anchor in Wingham, and The Duke William in Ickham and we visited Walmer Castle and Wingham Wildlife Park. Thanks for this wonderful space, we hope we can return soon!

A most enjoyable holiday for our 3 families and 11 members. A lovely large home with plenty of space for everyone to do their own thing. Everyone was happy with their large bedrooms and bathrooms, and the kithen and utility rooms were great... this is our 6th family holiday together and we have all rated this amongst the best!
