From the seafront, the promenade stretches all the way to vibrant Folkestone, while in the opposite direction Hythe’s characterful high street is a short stroll away, lined with independent shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants. Separating town and sea is the Royal Military Canal, where a tree-lined path provides a quieter waterside walk and rowing boats are available to hire in the warmer months.
Inside, this bijou studio is compact yet thoughtfully arranged, with everything you need for a long weekend. A king-size bed creates a comfortable place to unwind after a day outdoors, while a well-equipped kitchenette makes easy work of breakfasts and simple meals. A gated patio area offers space for a morning coffee (or even breakfast on warmer days) while an indoors fold-out dining table provides flexibility when the weather is cooler. There's also convenient, secure storage for paddleboards and bikes — particularly useful given Stone's Throw's immediate access to the beach and coastal paths.
For couples or solo travellers seeking a relaxed, low-maintenance stay by the water, this holiday home delivers exactly what its name suggests: comfort and the coast just moments away.

A picturesque promenade lining the long stretch of pebble beach, less than a minutes’ walk from Stone's Throw, leads all the way from Hythe to vibrant Folkestone, with beachfront cafés dotted along the way for a welcome drink or lunch pit stop — hire a bike or explore on foot.
Separating the quaint high street from the sea, sits the Royal Military canal, with a tree-lined pathway offering a peaceful walk along its banks, and boats to explore by water.
Lined with an excellent choice of cafés, restaurants and friendly pubs, with independent shops to discover, the pretty high street of Hythe is filled with character, whilst the seafront offers a selection of eateries — whether you want to sit on the pebbles or promenade with lunch in hand or inside with a warming cup of something.

Yes - as the name suggests, Stones Throw is less than 50 metres from the seafront in Hythe. Tucked just back from the promenade along a gravel path, the studio is only a short stroll from the pebble beach and the long coastal walkway that runs between Hythe and Folkestone.
Stones Throw is set up for a comfortable self-catering stay, with linen and towels provided. The studio includes a compact kitchenette for preparing simple meals, so you may wish to bring groceries if you plan to cook during your stay.
Given the property's proximity to the beach and promenade, it's also worth packing comfortable walking shoes and any seaside essentials you like to have on hand - such as swimwear, sunglasses, or a beach blanket for time spent along the coast. Otherwise, most everyday comforts are already in place, making it easy to settle in and enjoy Hythe's relaxed seaside atmosphere.
