Perched on the edge of a picture-perfect meadow and with mesmerising views of rolling hills and the North Downs, the Hayloft is a truly spoiling countryside retreat. Set within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this newly renovated home combines contemporary luxury with the warmth and comfort of a countryside escape, thoughtfully curated by the owners in collaboration with their Scandinavian interior designer.

The heart of the home is the stunning first-floor living space, where floor-to-ceiling glazing frames the landscape like a painting and bathes the open-plan kitchen, dining, and sitting area with natural light –– ideal for long, leisurely mornings, cosy evenings beside the wood-burning stove, and memorable meals shared together. The space opens on to a large sun trap terrace, where outdoor sofas and a dining area make the surrounding countryside and sunsets feel even closer. Steps lead down to a patio and private hot tub: the perfect place to unwind.

On the ground floor, each of the three beautifully designed bedrooms feature large architectural windows or sliding doors, connecting each room to the surrounding greenery. The master suite is particularly indulgent, featuring a sumptuous super king-size bed, six-metre-wide sliding doors, and a luxurious freestanding bath. A second super king bedroom offers equal comfort, while the bunk room provides a welcoming space for children or adults happy to share.

Beyond the house, your own private fenced meadow opens directly onto nine acres of surrounding grassland, with a gate leading to open countryside and footpaths stretching across the landscape. Whether it's an early morning stroll, an afternoon ramble, or simply sitting quietly and taking in the view, nature is never far away.

Every detail has been considered to elevate your stay. British-made beds, luxurious linens, and high-quality towels create a boutique hotel feel, while thoughtful additions such as Nespresso machines in bedrooms, flat-screen televisions, a range cooker, wine fridge, and underfloor heating ensure comfort in every season.
