Hidden away in the Ouse Valley and perfectly positioned in the quiet village of Isfield, where story has been told King Harold stayed in the village the night before the famous battle of Hastings, close to country towns like Uckfield and Historic Lewes, and perfect for days out to explore Brighton and its famous pebble beach, pier, and independent shopping lanes.
The famous Sussex Lavender Line is nearby, a lovingly preserved heritage railway based at the beautifully restored Isfield Station and offering visitors of all ages the chance to step back in time and experience the golden age of rail travel.
The open-plan living space at Brook Lodge Farm provides a beautiful area to relax together, leisurely prepare a family dinner in the sociable kitchen for memorable meals together, or dine alfresco in the garden With views over adjoining fields and farmlands.
With a choice of picturesque walking routes on the doorstep, it'll be easy to take in some fresh countryside air and relax into the natural surroundings, especially if you've got a four-legged friend in tow. Pop into the local farm shops and try the array of fresh produce, and experience the warmth of the surrounding local pubs.

Brook?Lodge?Farm is set in the beautiful Sussex countryside, near the village of Isfield, with a footpath from the house leading to the village. It enjoys good road connections with Gatwick being 50 minutes away, Brighton 25 minutes and Lewes and Glyndebourne 10 minutes by car.
There are several pubs nearby which are an easy walk away, including The Laughing Fish in Isfield and The Halfway House in Rosehill, a longer walk of 25 mins will take you to The Anchor Inn on the river at Barcombe. The Peacock Inn in Piltdown and The Cock Inn Clayhill are both within a 5-10 min drive away. A variety of restaurants can also be found in Lewes and Uckfield.
World-renowned for opera and classical music, Glyndebourne offers top-tier performances in an elegant countryside setting. Booking ahead is recommended, especially during festival seasons.
