Shoes be gone! This is an apartment for beach lovers happier with sandy feet and salty air. Contemporary in style and on the first floor of the building, it overlooks Pett Level’s shingle beach and gives its guests nothing but time and tide to look out on.
With two King-size bedrooms, sleeping four, there’s also a well equipped kitchen with coffee machine and large living area with chairs to sink into. The full height doors open up to a wide balcony that’s all ‘New England’; perfect for weekend outdoor cooking with friends or just gazing at the sunset.
Pett Level sits at the end of the 28 mile stretch of the historic Royal Military canal which starts at Hythe. The landscape is flat until at Pett Level the chalk cliff rises dramatically from the beach creating craggy pools and hidden coves. Unsurprisingly then, smugglers and other vagabonds made it the perfect hiding place for their loot. These days it's also prized for its fossils and birdlife.
Dogs are welcome in the apartment but Pett Level beach is restricted at certain times of the year.
