Escape to history at The Tudor Wing, an intimate one-bedroom sanctuary tucked within a beautiful Sussex vineyard. Whether you’re enjoying a posh BBQ on the lawn, reading by the warmth of the electric logburner, watching the sunset over the fields across to the sea from your window or retreating to the grandeur of the four-poster bed, every moment here feels timeless.
Set within the 120-acre estate of Wickham Manor, this National Trust gem is a 16th-century manor house steeped in heritage. Once owned by William Penn, founder of Pennsylvania, the estate now overlooks the family-run Charles Palmer Vineyard, where you can indulge in a complimentary glass of wine at the Cellar Door. The Tudor wing is walking distance to the ancient, picturesque town of Winchelsea, and the cobbled streets, and independent cafes and boutiques of Rye are nearby.
