Wow, what an amazing barn conversion. This property has everything you need for a fantastic weekend away with friends/family. The house is very well equipped, the cinema room is an absolute dream! We celebrated a 50th birthday and it truly was a special trip. There are soooooooo many positives (spacious, hot tub, electric blinds and windows, log fire, cinema room, stunning views, open plan kitchen area, games room) the only negative is that some of the beds could really do with a mattress upgrade!! A fantastic weekend anyway in a lovely property!

Lovely barn for a girls weekend 4.5/5

Booked this barn for a 10 people girls weekend and it was perfect. Plenty of space and tons to do at the house. The house is in the middle of nowhere with no local shops to walk to highly recommend doing a big shop before arriving including buying toilet paper as only minimal is provided. Bloomstays were so helpful in answering all my queries leading up to the trip. The owner also lives next door and was happy to help with any enquiries. The house does not permit smoking outside in the garden which was the only down side for us as smokers that we had to keep walking out of the gate. I think being able to smoke outside in the garden using designated ashtrays would be nice for those who want to smoke or it clearly advertised no smoke outside and inside this was not clear till we arrived. Other than that I cannot fault the house would stay again and highly recommend.

Birthday/Couples staycation 5/5

A birthday couples staycation, not where we initially wanted to stay but so happy we found this place. We great space, perfect entertainment space as well as relaxation. We used the hot tub which was easy to use and warm. The folder of instructions were perfect and easy to follow. The cinema room was super cosy and warm. We actually wished we stayed for longer and will definitely he returning. So thank you again!

We stayed in this beautiful barn over the Easter break and had a wonderful time. The barn was very well equipped, super clean and a fantastic spot to catch up with family. The children had so much fun in the cinema room and the hot tub was a favourite too! Thank you for a wonderful stay, we hope to be back soon.

We holiday at rentals several times a year, the entire family loved Old Harrow Barn and rated it as one of our top stays 🙂 Immaculate, fresh, modern and decorated with an enormous amount of personal thought. The toddler enjoyed watching and feeding the chickens, sons-in-law loved the hot tub, everyone enjoyed competing in the games room which was situated inside the property (instead of a chilly barn outdoors), cinema room with its twinkly ceiling offered a beautiful ambience, we loved the tranquil surroundings of peaceful green fields - full marks on all fronts!

We do a family weekend away several times a year, to bond and laugh away from the stresses of daily life. This was definitely voted one fo our 'hit stays' - everything rolled into one - natural surroundings (just missing the sheep!) fresh, immaculate barn with so much personal investment/true thought - we truly felt comfortable and cosy as a home away from home, as supposed to a commercial holiday rental. Games room was heavily used, chickens were enjoyed by the babies, nice big round table, bright, modern, fresh and plenty of space for all. Well done Sandra for creating such a beautiful, enjoyable space. 10/10

Second New Year and hopefully not the last at this incredible modern barn. 4.7/5

We loved Old Harrow the last time we stayed and this time was even better. A fabulous cooks kitchen and an extremely social space morning, noon and night. Fun facilities and the cinema screen / room is not just brilliant for watching movies (we watched Top Gun! it’s connected to aps including YouTube and our kids loved “the floor is lava” in the dark with the star lit ceiling with the entire wall sized screen central focus. We enjoyed our daily walks around the lanes in a 30 minute circuit and those of the group with dogs ventured just outside to the enclosed paddock to let their dogs have a run. We had a spectacular family / friends stay and can’t wait to come back again!

In short we had a great time at an excellent location. - It was the perfect place for 9 of us for a family Christmas, ranging from 2 to 77 - Lovely position of house for country walks even in inclement weather - Number of bedrooms and bathrooms ideal - Hot tub a popular add-on, particularly to have towels provided - Games room and cinema room a real bonus with children (both real and middle-aged) - Small supply of board games etc would have been useful on occasion - Kitchen/dining area ideal size and layout - Limited oven dishes for cooking for large numbers (e.g. lasagne for 9) - Excellent array of cutlery, crockery and glasses, but extra peeler and a few more serving spoons would have been useful. - Christmas tree and house beautifully decorated and a nice welcome with decorated front door. - Boot room and coat cupboard greatly appreciated and always full. - Lovely to find the cot bed for toddler made up and ready to use - thank you - It would be appreciated if there were a barrier of some description at top of stairs or door of master bedroom to prevent a toddler reaching the top of the stairs. -Beautiful day for all the family at Bodiam Castle nearb We hope these comments are useful and not too picky!, and that we weren't too much trouble.

Perfect Pre-Christmas Break 5/5

I stayed in Old Harrow Barn for a long weekend with a group of friends for our annual Christmas get together. It was the perfect location to get into the Festive Spirit! The house was decorated beautifully for the Festive period and we really enjoyed all of the facilities that the house has to offer. The house is very high spec, yet still felt cosy and homely. We would highly recommend and would love to come back!

Amazing weekend in a beautiful house 5/5

I hired Old Harrow Barn to run a fun fitness weekend away with friends. So impressed with the finish of the house, space and location. The car port doubled up as a little studio when the rain arrived. Saturday night in the cinema room to chill out after a days exercise was great and the hot tub helped the aches ! I would suggest getting a few more big pots for cooking and maybe a large fruit bowl but otherwise the facilities were perfect. Thank you

A Brilliant break! 5/5

We were a party of 10 staying over Easter 2022, 5 nights in total. 6 adults and 4 children. We were lucky with the the weather so did not have to venture far. We mainly walked and drove short distances to local pubs. The barn is amazing. The interior facilities, including a cinema room and games room could not be fault and outside the hot tub was a big hit. The quality of the interior was outstanding. Overall the barn is highly recommended.

Wonderful stay in this beautiful barn 5/5

We had an amazing time in this beautiful barn, decorated to a very high specification. The cinema room is simply amazing and we all enjoyed the hot tub. The master bedroom is beautiful with an amazing bathroom. Ideal for a special occasions, we were celebrating a 40th birthday with friends. Great communication with the managing agent who were happy to help with any questions. Highly recommend!

A lovely house. Comfortable and well equipped for large groups. The hot tub was good and other games were available. Easy to get to Canterbury or Whitstable. The only downside comment is that the downstairs en suite should have a hand rail for elderly people to hold on to in the shower.

The house that has it all! 5/5

What an incredible home for an occasion. The location is incredibly rural with lovely country walks about yet 15 mins to Leeds castle and 30 mins to Bedgbury - perfect for family time out! The house offers endless fun with darts, ping pong, fusbol in the sports room and a huge cinema screen in the blacked out cinema room. It’s really a cinema experience and all easy to use from any streaming service!! That and TVs in every room but one and the massive hot tub on the terrace. The kitchen is a delight to cook for a group and for our New Years it didn’t disappoint. We will come back for sure thanks Bloom Stays, Sandra and Jake 🙂

Absolutely Stunning 4.7/5

The property was absolutely beautiful, even better in person. I was surprised at the amount of space (additional storage the property had) and yet it felt so cosy. The host had left us essential food package which was a thoughtful. The beds in every room was so comfortable. It was an amazing place to spend my 60th birthday. I would suggest a full length mirror in the closet and other bedrooms and peg hooks for guests to hang their robes. Would definitely recommend a stay here and would love to stay again.
