Perched on the edge of a picture-perfect meadow and with mesmerising views of rolling hills and the North Downs, the Hayloft is a truly spoiling countryside retreat. Newly renovated, the owners have worked tirelessly with their Scandinavian interior designer to create a space that is luxurious, modern and homely in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The beautifully furnished, open plan living area on the first floor, complete with woodburning stove, has wonderful views with one wall almost entirely glass. It opens onto a large sun trap terrace, complete with comfortable outdoor sofas and dining area, from which the surrounding countryside and sunsets feel even closer. Steps lead down to a patio and private hot tub - the perfect place to unwind.

Each of the three ground floor bedrooms has architectural windows or sliding doors, providing charming outlooks onto the greenery around you. The master suite is particularly indulgent, with its super king bed, 6m wide sliding doors and luxurious freestanding bath. Bedroom two also has a fabulous super king bed and shares the sleek family bathroom with the bunk bedroom, which provides a fun space for up to four children, or two adults happy with a smaller room.

Situated on a small country estate, the house has its own private piece of fenced meadow with a gate leading you into the rest of the 9 acre field, which guests are welcome to roam around and enjoy, as well as directly onto a footpath with endless opportunities for rejuvenating rambles.

All beds are British made and, along with the linen and towels, are of a supremely high standard. The two main bedrooms have large flat screen televisions, as well as Nespresso machines whilst the kitchen has a range cooker and wine fridge, and there is underfloor heating throughout. Your stay at The Hayloft will feel like a fine hotel experience.

The Hayloft is a peaceful haven for those wishing to enjoy the countryside with easy access to the coast. The Hayloft is not a party house.

The Hayloft: sleeps 8 (max 6 adults) in 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite), open plan kitchen/diner/sitting area, large balcony with wonderful views, meadow gardens and hot tub.

Entrance Hall with cloak hanging and further built in cupboard.

Master Bedroom (sleeps 2) king size bed, 6 metre wide triple sliding doors lead to large patio and gardens beyond.  En-suite shower room with double sink and WC, wonderful freestanding bath in the bedroom. Smart TV, Nespresso coffee machine.
Bedroom 2 (sleeps 2) king size bed, sliding doors to side patio area, Smart TV, Nespresso coffee machine.
Bedroom 3 (sleeps 4, max 2 adults) with two sets of full size bunk beds and tilt and turn door leading to side patio.
Family Bathroom with bath and shower over, wash hand basin and WC.
Small utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

Large upper decked area is south west facing to take full advantage of stunning views and sunsets. Here will be found cosy sofas and bench seats, dining table and chairs along with a gas bbq and sun parasols.
Parking for 2/3 cars.
There is a gated path from the front of the house leading to the rear patio area and to the hot tub, and gardens beyond.

    Please note this property accepts a maximum of 6 adults due to the sleeping configuration in Bedroom 3 (2 sets of bunk beds). This is to ensure maximum comfort.
    No stag groups, hen parties or groups of adults under 30.
    Linen and towels provided, including hot tub towels and robes, garden shoes for the hot tub.

    Please note the maintenance team will attend on occasions to check the hot tub but will aim not to disturb your stay.
    There is a public footpath which runs alongside the edge of the garden leading you directly into the surrounding countryside, ideal for those who love walking.
    The owners and their residence shares the estate farmland grounds.

  • House Rules

    We would respectfully ask that the following house rules are adhered to, to avoid any damages to our beautiful holiday home. Should any damages arise please note charges may be taken from your security deposit.

    Please ensure you vacate on time to allow our housekeepers to enter the property and prepare it for the next guests.
    Smoking is not permitted in the property at any time.
    Please note for insurance purposes the number of guests must not exceed the total occupancy of the house. If guests wish to invite daily visitors this may only be done by prior arrangement with the owners or agents.
    For fire safety reasons please do not use any candles in the property.
    Please note quiet hours are between 11pm and 9am. Please be respectful to neighbours.
    Please observe the hot tub rules on arrival.
    Parties and loud music are not permitted.

Lymbridge Green is a small hamlet located near Stowting, approximately 10 miles from Canterbury situated at the top of the North Downs. There are an abundance of countryside walks on your doorstep, as well as easy access to the Cathedral City of Canterbury, and the coastal towns of Folkestone and Hythe. The perfect location to explore the wonders of Kent!

Not sure what the difference is from the question above. The TVs in all rooms were too big especially in the lounge and too high. It could have been put on a different wall with a swing out TV.

40th Birthday Break 5/5

My friends and I stayed at this beautiful house to celebrate two of us turning 40. The house is in a gorgeous location and the house is out of this world with so many lovely finishing touches that made our stay that extra bit special. You really couldn't ask for anything more. Can't wait too come back.

Fantastic property in a beautiful location 5/5

We spent a fantastic few days here with friends. The property is really well considered and beautifully done up. It's set in stunning surroundings and the house has been designed to make the most of the view. It had everything we needed and more for a brilliant holiday. The owners live in the house next door and couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming. They accommodated every request we had and were all round fantastic hosts. All in all a big thumbs up from us.

First Guests At The Hayloft!!! 5/5

Pictures never do the place justice. This is a fantastic place to go to with family, we had a really wonderful time. Being in a hot tub on top of a hill with the views is just incredible. The house has everything you would normally need in a home and the owners have thought of absolutely everything. Richard and Sheba are fantastic and really lovely. We will definitely be going back there later in the summer!
